We  believe strongly that an organization’s strategy for IT must be driven by and ultimately aligned with that of the business community. In order to achieve a close fit, an organization must overcome the traditional differences between business and the information systems division (ISD) by:

Identifying the gaps in existing strategies and tactical plans, and
Initiating actions that involve and have a high likelihood of satisfying the business community.

This framework is designed to align the opportunities and limitations of IT with the opportunities and problems facing the business. Our framework includes:

Assessing the existing environment,
Building a common understanding of the business and its critical drivers, and
Formulating "executable" strategies and plans that migrate from the current environment to one that is optimal given the company’s business plans, resources and culture.
